Chongqing Olympic Garden is located in the New North Zone of Chongqing, which is the focus for city development of Chongqing. Acclaimed as the “Pudong of Chongqing,” the New North Zone is becoming an important new area of Chongqing with a strong potential for economic development. Up to now, through attracting foreign investments and constructing large properties, and by virtue of its industries, facilities and construction scale, New North Zone has become a new metropolitan representing Chongqing’s prosperity of economy, strength of industry and modernization of commercial and financial industries as well as international living style. The light railway to go though the area is under progressive construction and is scheduled to commence operation by 2013.
Covering an area of approximately 1,730,000 square metres, Chongqing Olympic Garden has an aggregate GFA of approximately 2,480,000 square metres. It is one of the largest residential property development projects in Chongqing. The project is a high end complex comprising high-rise and mid-rise apartments, townhouses, detached villas and commercial properties. The project has been built into a scenic Olympic city integrating city theme entertainment and business centre, sport recreation centre, ecological leisure centre, regional education centre and international standard healthy residences.
